경남 합천군은 전국 최대 규모 철쭉 군락지로 유명한 황매산군립공원 일원에서 드벏은 진분홍빛 산상화원 ‘제30회 황매산 철쭉제’를 2026년 5월 1일부터 5월 10일까지 10일간 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 축제는 해발 800~900m 고지의 황매평전에 펼쳐진 대규모 철쭉 군락을 배경으로 진행되며, 만개 시기는 기상 여건에 따라 변동 가능하지만 5월 첫째 주로 예상된다.
 
개막일인 5월 1일에는 식전 공연과 철쭉제례가 열리며, 행사 기간 주말과 공휴일에는 퓨전 국악, 트로트, 전자바이올린 등 다양한 공연이 이어진다. 또한 보물찾기, 스탬프 투어, 나눔 카트 투어 등 체험형 프로그램도 마련돼 방문객 참여를 유도한다.

먹거리 부스와 지역 농특산물 판매장은 4월 25일부터 5월 17일까지 확대 운영되며, 축제 전후에도 이용 가능하다.
 
방문객 편의를 위해 셔틀버스와 택시가 운영된다. 셔틀버스는 4월 25~26일, 5월 1~10일, 5월 16~17일 동안 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 덕만주차장과 은행나무주차장을 순환 운행하며, 이용요금은 1인 편도 2,500원이다.

합천군 관계자는 “황매산 철쭉이 산허리를 붉게 물들이는 장관은 전국적으로도 보기 드문 풍경”이라며 “많은 방문객이 자연 속에서 특별한 봄의 추억을 만들길 바란다”고 전했다.
 
Hapcheon-gun announced that the “30th Hwangmaesan Azalea Festival” will be held for 10 days from May 1 to May 10, 2026, at Hwangmaesan County Park, a site հայտնի for having one of the largest azalea colonies in the country.

The festival takes place against the backdrop of vast royal azalea fields spread across Hwangmae Plain at an elevation of 800–900 meters. While the peak bloom period may vary depending on weather conditions, it is expected to occur during the first week of May.
 
On the opening day, May 1, a pre-event performance and a traditional azalea ritual ceremony will mark the beginning of the festival. Throughout the event, especially on weekends and public holidays, visitors can enjoy a variety of performances including fusion Korean traditional music, trot, and electric violin concerts. In addition, interactive programs such as treasure hunts, stamp tours, and sharing cart tours will be available to encourage visitor participation.

Food stalls and local agricultural product markets will operate on an extended schedule from April 25 to May 17, allowing visitors to enjoy them both before and after the main festival period.
