오는 4월 24일부터 26일까지 3일간 경상남도 진주실내체육관에서 ‘2026 아시아 이스포츠 대회(Esports Championships Asia 2026, ECA)’가 열린다.

이번 대회에는 대한민국, 중국, 일본, 베트남, 태국, 필리핀, 몽골 등 아시아 7개국의 국가대표 선수단과 관계자 150여 명이 참가한다. 대회는 아시안게임 정식 종목으로 채택된 후 치러지는 국가대항전으로, 아시아 이스포츠 국가대표팀 간의 경쟁과 협력이 한층 강화되는 무대다.

경기는 배틀그라운드 모바일, 이풋볼 시리즈(PC·모바일), 스트리트파이터6, 철권8, 킹오브파이터즈XV 등 6개 주요 종목으로 진행되며, ‘이터널 리턴’도 포함된다.
 
The 2026 Esports Championships Asia (ECA 2026) will be held over three days from April 24 to 26 at the Jinju Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeongsangnam-do.

The tournament will feature national teams and officials from seven Asian countries: South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Mongolia, with approximately 150 participants. As an official event following esports’ inclusion in the 19th Asian Games, this competition stands as a significant stage for intensified rivalry and cooperation among Asia’s national esports teams.

The competition includes six major titles: PUBG Mobile, eFootball series (PC and mobile), Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, The King of Fighters XV, and also features the game Eternal Return.
