2026년 4월 25일부터 5월 24일까지 30일간 충청남도 태안군 안면읍 꽃지해안공원 일원에서 세계 최초 원예치유 전문 박람회인 ‘2026 태안국제원예치유박람회’가 열린다. 이번 박람회는 2002년과 2009년 개최된 안면도 국제꽃박람회의 성공을 이어받아 태안에서 열리는 세 번째 국제 행사로, 충청남도와 태안군이 주최하고 (재)태안국제원예치유박람회 조직위원회가 주관한다.

입장권은 성인 기준 15,000원이며, 사전 예매 시 13,000원, 단체는 10,000원에 구매할 수 있다. 사전 예매는 인터파크 티켓 등에서 진행되며, 할인 혜택은 4월 24일까지 제공된다.

박람회는 스마트 치유 정원과 원예 산업 전시, 5개국 13개 교류 자치단체가 참여하는 국제 교류의 장으로 펼쳐진다. 특히 개막식에서는 가수 이찬원이 출연할 예정이며, 치유가요제 등 다채로운 문화 행사도 함께 진행된다.
 
행사는 전 세계 40개국이 참여하며, 182만 명의 관람객 유치를 목표로 대규모 국제 행사로 추진된다. 이번 박람회에서는 인공지능(AI) 기술이 접목된 ‘스마트 치유’가 핵심 콘텐츠로, 관람객의 감정 상태를 분석해 최적의 정원 코스를 제안하는 ‘AI 감정 기반 치유정원’과 연주자의 감정에 반응하는 ‘AI 피아노’ 등이 운영된다.

교통편은 서울에서 차량으로 약 2시간 30분에서 50분, 대전에서는 2시간 정도 소요되며, 행사장은 충남 태안군 안면읍 꽃지해안로 400번지에 위치한다.

The 2026 Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo, the world’s first expo specialized in horticultural therapy, will be held for 30 days from April 25 to May 24, 2026, at Ggotji Coastal Park in Anmyeon-eup, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. This event marks the third international expo held in Taean, following the successful Anmyeon Island International Flower Expos in 2002 and 2009. It is hosted by Chungcheongnam-do and Taean-gun, and organized by the Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo Foundation.

Admission tickets are priced at 15,000 KRW for adults, with discounted rates of 13,000 KRW for early online purchases and 10,000 KRW for group bookings. Tickets can be purchased through Interpark Ticket and other platforms, with early bird discounts available until April 24.
 
The expo features smart healing gardens and horticultural industry exhibitions, along with an international exchange platform involving 13 local governments from 5 countries. The opening ceremony will include a performance by singer Lee Chan-won, and various cultural events such as a healing song festival will also take place.

This large-scale international event aims to attract 1.82 million visitors from around the world and expects participants from 40 countries. A key highlight of the expo is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for “smart healing” experiences. Notable features include an AI emotion-based healing garden that analyzes visitors’ emotional states to recommend optimal garden courses, and an AI piano that responds to the emotions of the performer.
